Körper 8....17cm Durchmesser; im Alter bis zu 50 cm hoch, einzeln, mit weißem Wollscheitel; Rippen 13...21;
Areolen 7...10 mm lang und 4...6 mm breit;
Stacheln hellgelb bis hellbraun; Mittelstachel krallenartig gekrümmt, ohne Haken am Ende;
Blüten gelb, 32...37 mm Durchmesser, meist mit Duft
